Black Friday Rocket Consultation

Usually on these posts we detail builds we have done; today, we’re going to try something a little different and give you a peek at how we perform our Rocket Consultation.  A former customer who had us build some computers and a file server for his business decided he wanted a sweet gaming rig to replace his outdated system, but he wanted to build it himself.

After talking through his needs, we settled on the specs and budget and decided to go through with the purchasing during the Black Friday holiday weekend. Once the specs were finalized, we created a shared spreadsheet so we could track the items purchased, purchase price, rebates, and how much budget remained. As our expert shoppers ran across a component that fit the agreed upon specs for an amazing price, we contacted the customer so he could place the order.

As you can see, the customer ended up with an amazing gaming computer for hundreds less than he expected to pay. We provided support throughout the build process until everything was up and running and provided instructions in order for all rebates to be correctly completed and sent in the necessary timeline.
